Over the past few days I’ve received a number of emails and comments regarding Dead Island Helper and making it compatible with the Definitive Edition. While I was able to modify the tool to work with Riptide a couple of years back, I won’t be able to do the same this time around.

I’m really sorry to disappoint everyone with this news. As much as I’d like to work on a new version of the tool, the long and short of it is that I don’t have the same amount of free time I had when the original Dead Island came out.

For those interested, over the last few years, I’ve been making my own games — three in fact! — all available on Steam. Between developing and supporting these titles, I’m lucky to get a day off a week to relax, let alone tinker with side projects like Dead Island Helper!

Thanks to everyone who got some use out of Dead Island Helper, it was great knowing I was able to help people out with some of the game’s bigger issues.
